Well I have came to the point my car is in a desperate need of a tune. I have searched like crazy and have pm'd everyone that has helped me over the past year. But it seems like the tune is going to be the hardest part. I wish i would have bought a newer contour now, but that is out of the question so I need to go this route.
This is a subject i have no understanding in and can't find enough to read to get a good understaning of it. If someone would help me that would be excellent. Now if I can find a place to dyno tune my car. What would this include? How would they do it? Would i need a chip or would they reburn the ecu?
I hope i haven't over looked anything in my searching because if the answer is there i will kick my self in the ass and thank anyone who has put me in the right direction
thank you joel

Talk with beyonloadSE he has a 95 which is tuned - from what I remember only a few people still have the capability of tuning the older OBD1 Contours - he should bbe able to point you in the right direction. Just send him a PM

Might look on Dom's site (R.I.P.)
http://airknight.wnysportriders.org/3LFAQ6.html
After the GReddy eManage OR EEC Tuner Board is successfully installed, the car will need to be dyno-tuned on a chassis dyno. Air/Fuel ratio, injector pulse width, ignition timing, etc all need to be fine tuned for the best performance, and to prevent detonation or other engine damage. A compact sized laptop should be mounted in the car for instant in-car tuning which is one of eManages capabilities.
329.00 for the tuner board. Just need a laptop then.

You can dyno tune really nice with an emanage if you haven't done too many radical things. If its just a 3L conversion with 24 injectors you ought to be ok but you'd be better off with 19# when you do it.
