I've done a search for my problem and I've looked through some of the old posts to see if someone else had this problem but found nothing. I was attempting to put my HU in this morning and everything was fine until I took it back out to 'fine tune' my wiring job. Well, before I slid it back in place everything was fine but after I put everything back in place-nothing, complete silence. Now even my stock unit isn't working either so it can't be in my wiring job, right? I checked the fuses and they're good so I have no ideas.

Have you check the fuse...
Maybe it's just a shortcut.

Did any Zetec come with a "premium sound" package? (I don't know). I would have ventured to guess the amp/amp fuse blew, thus no sound from any HU, regardless of which one. However, this would depend on if ANY Zetec was equipped with said amp/package.
