Hope someone can help me out. I have a 5 speed Contour and I get a loud whinny sound when I'm geering down from either 2nd or 3rd. It only happens first thing in the morning when its colder out. After it warms up its fine. I can't tell whether its power steering or tranny. When I hear the noise I do turn the wheel and the sound changes with the turn of the wheel.
