Well, thanks to all that have helped.

I have cleaned the throttle body and EGR passages plus replaced the DPFE. The response seems to be a lot better.

I unfortunately had another issue arise.

I am getting a very noticeable lag in repsonse when my RPM's are under 4000. It seems that the car doesn't want to move until the secondaries open. The car bucks a bit and when the secondaries open it is fine.

The rotten egg smell has almost gone away since the cleaning and DPFE replacement although I am unsure now if this may be a catalytic converter problem anymore.

Any suggestions?

Fuel Filter? Water in gas? (use HEET or fuel stabilizer), Dirty MAF sensor?

Edit. MAF. This thread might help.

I would start with cleaning the injectors. If they are slightly restricted they may be a bit lean under light load but seem OK under heavier load. If they are dirty, you will see an improvement under heavy load as well. I like Red Line SI-1 or Techron injector cleaners.
