anybody heard of the Sachs Sporting Kit, consisting of springs and struts for the contour? There is a set for sale in the classifieds and i've never heard of sachs making springs for the tour.

Sachs makes a lot more stuff in Europe than just OEM replacements. I've also read that they supply the dampers for the Eibach matched sets (again, not sold here for our cars). I haven't heard much good about those dampers' longevity, though.
I've never heard of these, but they appear to be legit. Whether these examples are any good or not I definitely can't say.
Function before fashion.

It's probably someone selling the BAT kit with Sach's struts.
As long it the kit (i.e. struts) has NEVER been installed it would be worth looking into.

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

From the pics, it looks as if the kit was installed and used... I just took a look at it...

Absolutely irrelevant.
The Sachs "Super Gas" struts sold by BAT are an OEM replacement.
Sachs "Sporting" kits are sold in Europe only for the Mondeo (I gather). I don't know who makes the springs for them.
For that matter, I haven't seen a listing for the Mondeo application. I've only seen VW and some other German makes.

the seller says they were a mondeo kit and that he had the kit on his contour for a few months. He has pics there of the springs. I can't find any listing anywhere of sachs spring sets for mondeos though.
