I was driving home from work shifting from 3rd to 4th in a SVT. When i let the clutch out, nothing, no engagment from the trans, the engine was just free reving. Luckily i was going about 40 so i pulled into a gas station.

The shifter feels loose and can go in circles without feeling anything like a gear.
I guested that the SHIFTER cables had snaped. This was not the case because the linkage was moving when i moved the shifter around.
On the shift tower the linkage itself(a large black couterweight) was loose. I could push it back in forth with ease, Like something in the shift tower broke.

Could anyone enlighten me if this is correct? Thanks alot in advance

No experience with this but have read other posts of SVT drivers with similar experiences, I believe related to broken bolts in the shift tower. Search this forum for 'shift tower' and you should find info.

Also if your post topic were more specific you might attract more attention from people who have experience with it.
