It seems like my car is starting to shudder more in the low end of each gear (right when I shift into each gear). It also seems like my car hesitates when I give it some gas in the low end. Hesitating and shuddering. Anyone have any ideas?

I have the very same problem, just changed the tranny support hoping to fix it, didn't happen, I don't know what else can cause this either... any ideas?

Check the spark plugs and plug wires.

i also have this problem and have gotten it to subdue somewhat through a series of fixes. however it still exists and i am not entirely sure if it has actually gotten any better or it is just my perception over the past month. here is a list of what i have done: brand new fuel filter, plugs, wires, and pcv valve. i have also cleaned my entire intake thoroughly. i have also pulled my plugs twice and checked the gap to make sure they are right. most of this stuff i would have done anyways but they should have fixed my problem. i have seen a few posts on this recently and have not seen any replies other than to check the things that i have already done. so as of right now i am going to test a few other things and hopefully run down the source.

just to clarify things, i dont really get the shuddering, just more of the hesitation at low rpm under load.

Yeah, sounds exaclty like our problem, mine at least, I have new plugs in there and plan to throw a new fuel filter too, I'll try all the other stuff later I guess... btw, the hesitation is only present below 2000rpm's, anything over 2000's is smooooooth...
If you don't mind me asking, what else are you planning to try?

I just changed my spark plugs, wires, cleaned the throttle body, sprayed the MAF clean, halfway cleaned the UIM (which is more of an inside joke by the way), and changed the oil 1,000 miles ago. I'm bordering 118,000 miles and I'm trying to keep this car in shape to the best of my abilities. This doesn't appear to be anything life-threatening, but it definitely has me worried.

Yeah, it just bothers me a bit also... my svt has only about 35k miles... maybe we should post this on the troubleshooting section, maybe we'll get more answers there...

It could be a fuel injector issue. Try putting a can of Seafoam or other fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank to see if it helps.

just to let you know, i am now out of ideas. one thing that i forgot to list was to check the operation of my imrc. that was actually the very first thing i did, and it is working just fine.
