I'm revamping a website for a company we recently acquired; it's one of the biggest/most popular in its field. Buried in the source code, I found the best custom 404 error ever:

"You have reached this search page in error. There is not a current page or link anywhere that looks like that stupid sh!t you typed in."

I'm rewriting much of the source code, but that part is a keeper.

i had one on my company's website i did that said "No midget porn here, try again"
