It started to happen a few weeks ago, i would turn on my heat and the blower fan would not come on at any speed. I hit a hard bump and then it came on. So today i finally thought i would take a look at it. Well i pulled out the fan and ohm checked it and got like 8 ohms if i remeber right. I was really just looking to see if it was open circuit inside the fan motor. Next i checked voltage going to the blower. It read 12.0 at any speed setting with key on. After that i pulled out the switch outa the console and looked at that. It seems to have conductivity throught the switch. I also checked to see if there was power coming through the 4 pin connector. I used a test light and with key on and a with the "panel" select i didnt have any power going to the switch. Then i checked to see if my test light was grounded well, with my multi-meter. It was, so i check the 4 pin connecter to see what was grounded. If i remeber right 3 of them lead to ground. So should the forth be powered? All i have is a Chilton manuel and it doesnt have wiring dirgrams of this system. Lastly i check the fuses, and they were all good. So im asking for some help! If you have some digrams you could send me, or any ideas lemme know! Oh one more thing when i backed outa my parents driveway the damn fan can on. But it seemed it was slow to get up to full speed.
