ray, ive been on www.nloc.net for 5 years so i know it gets repetitive saying things over and over again to new guys. but really why write 3 sentences saying you can find anything by searching when you can write a few words and give the fellow his answer. thats the part that makes no sense to me.

As a longstanding member on another technical forum, you already know that answer.

Sometimes attempting to give an answer in as few sentences (3.. 5.. 9?) can end up being more misleading than helpful.. sometimes the answer really IS indepth, and can't be shortened, simply for the sake of not saying "search".

hey, just saw this abortion of a thread.. this isnt dave (rudder boy) I'd just like to say one thing, most of you are probably from the states and dont even have a "real" mechanic or even know one, as far as I know there is only a handful of post secondary schools that teach mechanics, not even government supervised (as for my run on sentences if you want to get technical, I'm pretty drunk) so piss off
anyways, I dont want to start a flame war as to who knows what about cars and whatever, there aren't many contour lovers out there, this kid is one. Why would you want to drive him away? do you usually do this to n00b members?
I know what he meant by port and polished the intake what he means is he matched the intake, head and gasket using a die grinder and smoothed out what casting flaws he could see, obviously not using a "extruded" whatever machine just be happy that you have a person that loves the same sport and model that you do, I would never flame some ricer that came and asked me if an electric supercharger would give them more power... remember you were young once too and you thought you or your friends cavalier 3.1 was fast , educate the people who are still in the back woods on mods don't flame them... ok anyways , now that I've ranted and if you've read this far your a real good sport.. but I wanted to get that off my chest... welcome any responses
always up for a war of wits
(my intake rudders steer me towards the beer store so I can intake some beeeeeer) (rudders is funny though, don't tell him I said that ahahahahah)

Reason number 1,000,001 Why I don't post here often. Not to beat the dead horse anymore but come on guys instead of just telling someone to search give them an insight on search words. A lot of times I will do a search with the words I expect and then it will turn out to be a different set of words. other times there are pages of crap like this one where you all want to flame someone and they flame back etc..... and I hope that people will have the decency to narrow it down a bit that have done the same process. Just my thoughts on things continue with your verbal abuse of each other. Oh and I frequent a site where a lot of the members have English as a second language, sure we poke fun at them but with respect for the fact it is a second language and for them to be competent in writing sentences and making puns even though they sometimes screw the lines up they try. As for people who want to post when they are drunk no mercy.
