Not looking for any color in particular I just seem to keep finding black locally. If you can keep an eye out that would help. I found another on autotrader in CT hopefully checking that out tomorrow. 2000 CSVT

Yeah, my dealer did it under warranty, but I heard at the time that the warranty was going to expire on 8/31/03 I think. Maybe it was 02, but anyway, my dash wasn't really warping yet, but I wanted the work done to prevent it while the dealers would do it under warranty. The dealer I went to all the time for service, (not where I bought the car) said my car didn't show signs of warping so they wouldn't do it! I went to where I bought the car and they did it without questioning anything. So now all is well.

now that is f**king cool. they are sisters.

no dash warp yet(bangs on wood)probally due to stored in garage, hardly used, no winters and not parked in hot sun for long periods of time.

got to figure the first few were show cars then the next group were for crash testing then they went to the general public after that

maybe yours was an early show car that was sold or one that was to be crash tested but it wasn't, who knows

like with the Boss 429s KK numbers xx01 to xx12 were show/crash test cars then the rest were sold to the public, and if you got an early one you got Nascar engine components, my fathers has the luck of being the highest recorded survuving KK number from 1969 but the vin is not. figure they were loaded onto the trailer lowest vin first so when they came off they went into Kar Kraft highest vin to lowest for the shipment and were thus numbered as they came off the line
