Quick question...i had my left side LCA changed at the dealer under warranty..after getting the car back i noticed a "groaning" sound when reversing and also when downshifting..upon inspection realized that the bolts for the LCA were installed upside down and that the transmission is resting on the 2nd bolt...i've read some posts about this being the easier way to install these bolts (yes the dealer did it this way)... but has anyone else had an issue with the trans sitting on the bolt when done this way...also the trans mount seems to not be a problem because there is adequate space between the trans and sub frame of about 1-1 1/2"..

Yes a few are installed upside down. Has to be this way unless the drivetrain is pulled. Unless they used wrong sized bolts it should not touch the trans. Motor mounts/roller restrictors could be soft enough with age to be touching the bolt. Bring it back to the place that did the work and show them the issue. I'm sure you can grind the bolt down a little.
