I will be attending the CEG Dragon Run 05 this coming weekend.

I would like to avoid if possible the need to bring 2 sets of wheels. But if needs be I will.

I have a set of 16" Rota Grids with 225/50/r16 Kuhmo V700 Compitition tires. Wear is moderate but they still have tread. Will these tires be ok to drive to the Dragon and back? It will be a 1.5 hour drive, mostly interstate and partly decently paved backroads.

What V700's? They have 2 different models.

Escta V700's? or Victoracer V700's?

I know people that run the Victoracers as a street tire on low mileage cars that see a lot of AutoX. I also know people that drive on Escta V700's to AutoX events that are more than 1.5 hours away.

Either one should be ok to run depending on how much life you want to have left in them when you get done.

Escta.

I am sure I will wear them down in more in one run down the dragon than i would for the 3 hour round trip.

Thanks for the input.
