Out with the old in the new! For 9-months of use on the 240SX 'vert we were out $300 + ins + gas. All in all not too bad for the 4500 miles we put on her! But we decided it was a bit too small, didn't have the luxury features we wanted, and most of all, we wanted a glass rear window. Wheres bigMoneyRacing to congratulate me? So we bought a triple white, oh yeah baby, white leather! '95 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. 1-of 4000 and the last year of production for the car. '95s had the interior upgrade including dual airbags and no more of those "My First Sony" giant buttons and sliders that GM was famous for in the early 90's. 3.4L DOHC LQ1 engine 210HP and 215TQ 4Whl Discs w/ ABS 16" wheels w/ 225/60 tires Dual airbags Climate Control 6-way power drivers seat Rear defrost remote keyless entry wtih power trunk Dealer finished up fixing the two issues we had and it's ready for pick-up tomorrow. $4,350 out the door including tags till 10/07

Awesome ride, one of my favorite verts! Ive always wanted one of those but the winters here suck! Becareful with those 3.4 DOCH's they have expensive timing chain repairs around the 70K mark. Other than that Sweet ride! Congrats!

ive never been up on the 240sx cars - so I like the new one better - the lights setup is wicked on the olds - about the only thing I like on the car - but in white with white interior I can see it - just let the wife drive it more than you and you should be ok.

You, sir, have an AWESOME ride. I used to have a 94 Cutlass, sedan though, but I LOVED THAT CAR! Change the timing belt though. They'll go at 60k like clockwork. Head over to www.w-body.com if you need help with it.

Lordy that's a beautiful car! Same color as my old coupe too. FWIW painting the front air deflector white *really* helps the looks, maybe a half dozen screws and it's off and easily painted with color-match paint from Napa or whatever. Also, lose the ding strips if you can. FWIW bugs are a devil to remove from the crevices on the front bumper; I hated to use it but solvent was often the only way to remove residue completely. As boxy and conservative those Olds were they just had a certain appeal. From the unique headlights to the taillight/spoiler combination (that was only on those verts and 3.4 equipped coupes of '96 and '97 IIRC) GM got it right IMO. I'm VERY envious, that is a beautiful, beautiful car!!! And the seats!

In retrospect, it was all downhill from here. RIP, CEG.

But honestly, what can you expect...... its a Contour board
Funny you said this in another thread. I got rid of my 95 Cutlass Supreme Coupe about a year ago, which was my beater. And you want to consider Contours as beaters. Funny how people's perception of different cars vary.
