Yup! As of last night at about 6pm, I no longer own the SVT. I will miss her greatly, but I hope to get many years of joy out of my new car. It is a 2003 SAAB 9-3 Vector. So far, so good. She rides awesome and is really fun to drive!
I'm still unsure if we are coming to the fall meet as we have plan that evening. We may try and make it down and head out a little early.

I was wondering about that - I thought you had sold the SVT long ago. My bad. Congrats on the new car .. though it's sad to see your (and Karen's) second SVT gone. The Saab looks like a great car, here's hoping it performs just as well!

congrats so shiny I think Mike and I test drove a SAAB like that at the GM event. It was pretty fun!
Did you sell the SVT to an existing CEGer?

Nope. I traded it in to Lovering Volvo in Concord. This came up pretty quick and didn't have time to try and sell it. I got what I needed, but not what I could have private sale.

hahah good luck with her, meng. from what i have learned in the past year, ScAABs are VERY expensive to repair. but, i told you this in a PM.
also, i have not had the pleasure of working on one of these. i actually like the Aeros and from what i have heard the Vectors are really nice too.
hey brian...are you you ever going to pick up Sally? she was still at the shop when i left today at 5:30...

That Saab looks awesome!! I've always liked the looks of the new 9-3 and the Vector package just totally sweetens the deal. I can't wait for a ride in that bad boy! PS - Happy Birthday man!

I know they are quite expensive. There is still 11K left on the factory warranty. I can only hope that with regular maintenance repairs will be a kept to a minimum. The Vector was replaced by the "Aero" name in '04. From what I read is was due to a trademark or something. Ryan - I consider this a B-day present to myself!!!

regular maint. is a must on saabs.
from what my boss has told me, you can add springs to the wastegate and it increases the turbo output dramatically. i will ask him monday how to do this if you are interested.
