My best run netted a 2.32 60'.  That was, of course, with beg-for-grip VR4s, worn clutch and 36psi. Now, UR Stage 1 clutch, Quaife, and KDWs.  There better be an improvement, low 2.2s at least. Must....get...headers... John

JohnJohn all that should help tremendously, EXCEPT maybe the kdw's, I found the sidewall on the kdw's is so darn stiff, I can get just about any other z-rated tire to hook better than the bfg's. Of course, yours should be an improvement since you had no tread...

The more I think about it, the more weak those numbers are....assuming you were running this setup :rolleyes: IIRC Mark(Worldtour) said he could run mid to low 13's with his SC....if you add a 3.0 to that equation you should at least better that number by .3 to .4(at least) simply due to the extra torque off the line. With a quaiffe, clutch, good tires, and maybe a bulldog box I don't see why you couldn't potentially pull off 13 flat or 12's!!!!. Now that sounds fun, hmmm.... I have to stop talking about fast cars, it's making me depressed knowing that I have to wait till this summer for the 3.0, and dreams of a SC/TC are way off in the future

I have to stop talking about fast cars, it's making me depressed knowing that I have to wait till this summer for the 3.0, and dreams of a SC/TC are way off in the future  [/b] yeah right. first you would HAVE to lower compression to get the s/c on the 3.0 conversion. also, mark does not have track times... mearly g-tech and some speculation. the only s/c tour i saw at the track was pulling mid 14s. with the added torque of the 3.0 you could probably get into the 13s, maybe mid to lows if you are good.
