just changed the oil and new plugs. plugs are right - app764, gapped at .054. i have double checked everything, but whenever i start the car and rev it from the throttle body w/ the hood up, there is a slight hesitation and a clicking noise from the distributor. anyone have any fixes or suggestions?

Check it at night and look for arcing near the coil pack and the wires. I had a similar problem not too long ago.

Easy fix. Get rid of the distributor, but then again, that may be hard since these cars don't have distributors...

problem solved, i seem like a dumbass for calling it a distributor, but i could care less, dont really even know you folks. appreciate the advice though from the helpful ones, i think there was just a wire connector loose that wasn't against the plug tight enough. puuuuurrs now.
