My car shakes at higher speeds 55 is okay, 65 is too if the radio is on. but higher then that, and the whole car is sent into a vibratory frenzy. handling is not affected, and everything else feels alright. could it just be that the crappy tires that came with the car are causing it to rumble? any help here would be thanked for

alignment problem, camber, caster, bad tires (not likely), linkages, bent rim, etc...just stating all the possible causes.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

You should also check tire pressure. If the tires are worn at the edges due to low air pressure, the "wear bars" can cause a massive vibration which is very noticeable at 55 or 65. If not, then you should also try a wheel balancing. Try rotating the front to rears and see if it helps.
Edit. How many miles on the tires and how old are the tires?

tire pressures are fine, i check them regularily. but wiat, the left rear tire is down to the wear bear and bald( belt is showing through) on the inside of the tread. Ithought about this then dimissed it(but not completely) because the majority of the shakeiness feels like its coming from the front, as the steering wheels vibrates at all speeds(more at higher speeds) i dont know about rotating, due to the near baldness of the left rear. wheel balancing? how would i go about that? keep in mind that i have no money what-so-ever to spend on expensive procedures.

If the belt is showing through, you're only one pothole or pebble away from a major catastrophe. Replace the tire(s), and see if the problem goes away.

Don't rotate if the rears are shot. Looks like an alignment is showing up in the crystal ball. Unfortunately, they usually refuse to align if the tires are not worn evenly. So new tires will be required for the rears ($$$)
As for balancing, the indies usually charge $10 for each wheel. So you are looking at $20 for the front wheels. Check to make sure the fronts do not have the wear bars showing on the edges too.

2000 miles = 2 months? Used tires are usually cheap. Doesn't come with warranty. Sometimes you can get them for $20 each (including balancing). However, the last time I bought two used tires (15 years ago) to pass insepction, one blew up on the highway, after using it for 3 months (still had a lot of thread on it).
