To be correct - installed after 2 hours, let cure overnight. Yes it'll be soft inside - but the outer skin is VERY tough. Take it easy on it, or let it sit longer. Mines still intact after >30,000 miles.

On the lower:

I had alot of low rpm vibe with the rear mount filled, replaced it with the SVT style. Highway was fine, idle with high accesory load was REALLY bad.

So sue me for some memory lapse after 3 years. wink I still stand by my "slow cure" process. The "super fast" urethane does stand true when you use it as an adhesive for automotive windows like it was intended for, but not when it is layered 2" thick. The choice of method for cure time is purely a users preference.

I mentioned the vibration problems that were had with one install, because I figured it could be a problem on some cars. My car has been fine for 10K miles now with both mounts filled. I do get some extra vibration in the steering wheel and floor when the A/C kicks on while idling, but not "bad" by any means.

Chirping your tires in 2nd & 3rd is fun, especially when you can catch a streetlight race challenger off guard with it. Even with both mounts filled, I can still induce wheel hop on wet/snow covered streets, but not to the degree without them.

The juice is loose and the motor mounts are too. What gives...

I have a bad habit of misaligning the rear trans mount (roll resistor) Have the re-align it every month or so... Time for a solid stab-o-shock I guess! laugh

DeamonSVT, what do you mean you misalign the rear trans mount? Just kind of curious.

If I had an extra mount at the time I would've done it your way - but it seems that less curing time is okay if your really pressed for time (never enough time to do it right, always time to do it again).

I still occasionally get some hop - but like you it's mostly on wet or sandy roads.

I have to keep the wife happy - which is probably what threw my level of NVH over the top with the filled rear mount - though it did get pretty darn noticeable at times even for me. Like you said though, maybe just some cars are more prone than others.
