My only remaining problem now that my EGR problem has been solved is this: '99 Duratec V6 92000 miles, ATX. When the outside temperature exceed 95 degrees and the A/C is on, the temp gauge starts creeping into the higher ranges which forces me to turn off the A/C. I can sit and idle for over an hour with my A/C on with no problems, but when I start to move is when the temp gauge creeps up. I've already tested the coolant. Any ideas on this one? Thanks!

Water Pump? WP belt? Are the radiator fans coming on at all?

In my shop I have replaced countless water pumps in these Contours, including mine. The plastic impeller shreds piece by piece and eventually it will pump nothing at all. Check the pump, replace as necessary, and flush the coolant.

The fans do come on. I had a feeling that you guys would suggest that it's the water pump. I'll look through previous posts for more info on it. Thanks muchly.
