Looks nice. Wish my Probe looked that good, but I guess thats what I get for getting a SE that the previous owner bet the sh!t out of.

BTW is that cup holder standard equip. or something that you added. I thought the cup holder in the contours suck, the one in the Probes are even worse.

It's the standard 2 drink cup holder (Lid slides back, that one folds out, supposedly rare?). My car is okay, but I can tell it wasn't taken the best care of, so that gives me something to do at least. I'm hoping to get a Contour/Mystique soon, if I can find one that I like.

Yeah that must be rare since that is only the second one I have ever seen. I need to get me one of those.

I had a '95 PGT once. Owned it for less than a year, it kept falling apart too quickly (several months of that year it spent in the side yard awaiting a competent mechanic). I never owned the car when it had no problems -- previous owner didn't maintain it. It didn't have power locks, windows, sunroof, or basically anything except power antenna ... if it did I might have made more effort to keep it going.

Was certainly a fun car to drive when it was running though, and quite the looker (minus the PO's Maaco job front bumper ). I do miss it sometimes. Perhaps someday if I'm ridiculously rich and have garage room for a fifth or tenth car, a better condition '97 GTS one might become part of my collection, haha. I definitely miss having an MTX for a daily driver.

(In the image - the front swirlies are on backwards; this was fixed immediately upon registering the car and buying new tires.)

The standard 2-cup cupholder was indeed standard. However, nowadays it is rare because the extra cupholder piece is often lost or broken (pre98 Contour owners, you know the feeling!). My PGT had the proper console and you could see where the piece should have fit in.

Here's what I used to drive. But my Mystique is faster, insurance is about half as much, and I can fit more people in it. But I reeeeeeeeeally miss the 5-speed. And the women. The four door family sedan just doens't do it like the Probe did. (luckily girls don't know how slow 118hp is...jk)
