Have you checked or cleaned the EGR yet? That would be a good start. In addition, the 1131 code would have these possible causes.

Electrical:
· Short to VPWR or VREF in harness or HO2S
· HO2S circuit shorted to Ground
· Water in harness connector
· Open circuit
· Corrosion or poor mating terminals and wiring
· Damaged HO2S
· Damaged PCM (other DTCs should be present)
Fuel System:
· Excessive fuel pressure (stuck fuel pressure regulator, restricted fuel return lines, etc.)
· Leaking/contaminated fuel injectors or fuel pressure regulator
· Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel (fuel pump concern, fuel supply line restrictions, low fuel level, etc.)
· Vapor recovery system (stuck VMV, etc.)
Induction System:
· MAF contamination
· Air leaks between MAF and throttle plate
· PCV system / Other vacuum leaks
· Improperly seated engine oil dipstick
EGR System:
· Leaking gasket
· Stuck EGR valve / Leaking diaphragm or EVR
Base Engine:
· Oil overfill
· Incorrect cylinder compression
· Exhaust leaks before or near the HO2S
· Secondary air stuck on

okay, thanks
yes, i have cleaned the egr, it works.
i think that there was a plug somewhere in the return line leading from the exhaust to the egr.
i tried my best to clean it out, but i havent put it back together yet, so well see how that goes.

I once had excessive and insufficient at the same time.. So I replaced the DPFE and for a week I was golden. Then excessive kept on popping up. So I replaced the EGR valve... So for about 2 weeks it works then CEL came on again for excessive. So the solenoid gets replacement.

The entire EGR system was replaced and still the EGR system was throwing CELs like no other.

So then I got an xcal 2 and turned the bugger off Not having to worry about EGR is golden

Cleaning those EGR passages behind the throttle body might wipe out the 'flow underspeed' CEL. Good luck & enjoy.

You saw the inside of the UIM when you changed the air filter?

You gotta take the throttle body off and clean the UIM, including the passage that leads to the EGR valve. That's the whole thing, mostly.
