I am looking for some detailed pics of the IMRC systems on a 95 or 96 vehicle. MIne seems to be missing the system. The engine is from a 95, the car is a 96, so I would like to see which i will need to adapt it to. I do have a conenctor for an IMRC controller box, but don;t see anything else.

There are secondaries, though, and he is looking for pictures detailing HOW the secondaries are attached to the vacuum system on a 95.

If the car is a 95 you're going to have to adapt it to 95 specs. You have obd 1 and the computer and it's wiring harness that's associated with it. The upper and lower intake manifolds should have been swapped over so everyting still works. If you don't have them it's going to be a bit of $ to convert. Shame on the person that did this swap. A picture isn't going to hep you if you're not familiar with the car. Bring it over and I'll look at it.

The car's a 96, but the engine (and manifolds, I guess) are 1995. I would imagine that he's got the wiring in place to connect to an IMRC box, at least. Yeah, whoever did the install did not do their homework.

Still going to need the LIM to hook the IMRC up to.

It is a 96 car with OBD II and a connector to hook up the IMRC controller to. I also have a place for the IMRC cable as the bracket is off a 96. the secondaries are open by default ona 95 engine, closed by default on a 96, so hopefully that does not cause me problems in terms of adapting either. Also another wierd tidbit is i never get a CEL for missing IMRC, yet when ford did an engine diagnosis they told me my CEL would not stay off if i don;t have an IMRC.

You need to use your old (96 OBD-II) engine harness and LIM.
You may also need to swap over some of your original sensors as well.

the car does have the 96 wire harenss and probably has all the 96 sensors since it runs well, and the IMRC bracket does say 1996 on it, I just have no IMRC conroller. And the only other uncertanty is the fact that my secondaries are stuck open when the 96 and never systems usually defaulted closed?
i just don;t want to drop a ton of money on a IMRC if it won;t dork with my car. i saw an IMRC on ebay for a dollar, but they said it didn;t function. Is there anything inside i could fix to make it function or do these go out often?

Their is no IMRC bracket. Just bolts to 3 points on the front valve cover. No, you can't fix an IMRC. Can't buy the parts seperately. Have to buy and entire new IMRC.
