He just don't want to get his pretty hands dirty to try and fix the leak himself.

Gee I wonder why their is coolant on the ground then. Might have been particles in the system if your WP went that weren't flushed out. Don't recall if yours did or not. Could be interfering with the t-stat and new WP. Sounds like the shop you took it to didn't do a good job. I'd take to a dealer and get it done right hoepfully. The housing might not have been replaced and you could have issues because of that as well. And are your cats going like your rod bearings are? You need some who knows how to work on cars look at it and diagnose it. Good luck getting $5500.

I bought my 98 svt last fall for 4500. 118,000 but in mint condition. All the switches even seem like a new car. Not even any wear on the drivers floor mat, It's like they pushed it down a really big hill and steered with remote... Now its 139,856, only problem I had was a p0420 last week, besides an operator-induced cracked transmission case. It's all stock down to the air filter, and on a 7 degree day last winter I hit 154 on the speedometer. Good brakes too. Well, they will be good brakes again as soon as I replace them, but thats somewhat of an operator induced failure too.

Sorry to hear about your woes, buy a GM car and your current woes will seem like a gift, then will see trying to find another SVT tour because for the current price they are the only 4 door car with any kind of performance that doesn't suck unless you get something like a BMW or Mercedes, but get your other wallet out...

Besides, you're bitching about a problem that should be under some kind of warrantee, it's not the cars fault the mechanic messed something up.

If you want a cheap fast car you can beat to death with minimal maintanence, I suggest 85-93 mustang gt. Easy to work on too, you can pull the trans in 45 min instead of 4-5 days...

Not the best job of salesmanship I've ever seen . . . List the problems then give a kinda high price... ha ha

It would be a shame if # 0009 wasn't around anymore. Good luck, it can be frustrating sometimes. Sorry to hear of your troubles.
