I got a 98 svt and i was at belle tire today and a kid there just wrecked his 00 svt and is selling his wheels. 19in centerline monsoons. The tires are toyo proxy 4's. This was his car. I dont have any suspension mods yet but will soon. So i guess i kinda have a question on that too but i know im on the wrong forum for that. Please dont cut me down or anything because i did research the topic and do searches but couldnt find any info that was 100% clear to me. Any help would be appreciated.

i remember seeing that car in here before. those are sweet rims!! i have 19" centerlines on my car and they baaarely ever rub. when i hit a big dip or during really hard cornering, theyll rub on top a little. no big deal. never on the sides. my car has eibachs with konis and i always have tons of crap in the trunk. plus a 12" sub and two amps. it adds rather nicely to the sagged look

if he's selling them cheap, go for it!!

hes got 225/35/19 and yeah i agree it is a tight set up. So there would be little rubbing concern with the stock 98 suspension?

I don't think you can honestly, I could of sworn that you need GCs in order to run 19s, reason being you need to cut the perch(Sp).

GC = Ground Control coilovers

I believe the perch is what the spring sits on (you can see it in your wheel well). You can't cut the perch with stock springs because they are too big in diameter, while the ground controls are small (more tightly wound).

I don't have GC's so I don't know the exact details, someone correct me.

I have heard that said many times as well. However X's 20s fit fine on whatever suspension he has now after he got rid of his GCs. I think the only way to find out for sure would be to test fit them.
