I've got (supposedly) the first production Bosal catback. It's got a good sound, but I haven't listened to a Borla or Bassani in person to compare them.

Our Cougar bretheren add to our numbers with most performance products. It should be able to work. The only difference is how to set up the rear section so that the tips come out closer together. Ah, maybe we'll just have to work on doing a variation of the Contour system.

A high flow quasi-dual is probably the best way to go. A true dual is pretty useless on a 2.5 litre v6, the loss of backpressure would be counterproductive, you would end up loosing tq most likely.

I hate to steal anyones thunder, but we at Performance Fords have been working hard with Brullen for most of this summer designing and prototying a complete cat-back system on a Contour SVT. The only place you will be able to get this system for all contours (initially duratec and later the Zetec contours), the cougars will be with us! We are hammering out the final details and you should look for a group buy very shortly. Systems will be customizable with the size and style of tips and even the loudness level of the system. We thought people would like to be able to have a somewhat customized solution rather than a cookie cutter approach of all the other manufacturers (ala Borla and Bassani!). We at Performance Fords like to be innovative and not like your regular run of the mill reseller. We carefully choose our manufactures and suppliers and also desgin many of our own products. We like to offer the enthusiast something unique and new that noone else has thought of offering for our platforms. We prefer to be the leaders and not ride others coattails. Thanks and Happy Motoring

Thanks, Justin Originally posted by SilVer bulleT: I hate to steal anyones thunder, but we at Performance Fords have been working hard with Brullen for most of this summer designing and prototying a complete cat-back system on a Contour SVT.

We will hopefully know better by the weekend! I will be posting pics and sound clips then too. Sound is very deep. Loudest is a function of what you want. Our prototype without a resonator produced NO RASP. Originally posted by jcboeckl: What will Performance Fords Price be. How does this exaust sound compared to borla.

That's funny because I can get that exhaust from them too, even though I sell their VW exhausts, you do NOT have any exclusivity with them, to think otherwise is either naive or misleading. Any one of brullen distrubitors can sell any of their products !

The hell with the V6 contours!!!! Us ZETEC owners need a BOLT up system. Sorry im not going to adapt (cut & paist) a 500 dollar exhaust system. There has to be something out there for us, europe mabey?

i LOOOOVE the brullen VW products. such a good look and nice sound, not to mention performance. i would def. be in on a group buy. i'd like to see numbers on each configuration, resonator(s) or not, mufflers or not, etc. i'd also like to see sound level numbers of each vs. stock at idle, WOT, and perhaps ~3k rpm. numbers in dB would be great. don't mean to be "high maintenance" but i guess i'm anal and would like to be educated before choosing my configuration. they're quality is great. i'm assuming i'd see the same for the svt! -eric
Please: put something meaningful in your post subject! NOT "please readme!". -------------------- "your" is possessive, "you're" is the conjunction that is short for "you are", "there" is for "the dictionary is over THERE", "their" is the possessive one, and "they're" is a conjunction that is short for "they are". have a nice day  -------------------- Silver Frost non-E1 SVT/Contour see my registry/profile: http://contour.org/carprofile/carprofile.cgi?a=display&uid=00004623

I am going to go with a nice cat-back system with the turbo. I was going to go true dual, but that isn't an option with having a single outlet on the turbo. So many options (can't believe I am saying that!)
We might be going with Borla with the turbo kit, maybe we could get an engineering sample at a discount, with the option to purchase plenty more in the future?
