I haven't seen any written recommendations on replacing the timing belt on my 2.5L Duratec. I'm currently at 90K.

you havent seen any... because the Duratec has no timing belt... it has a timing chain. Its rare that it has to be replaced, but IIRC there was a recall on the timing chain, or something related to it.

The TSB was for the tensioners, and caused clakcing upon startup, or (when more deteriorated) at all times.

Also the TSB was for the 95. It was corrected from the factory after that. If you have some chain rattle, the TSB in interesting information, but since the revised tensioners were installed after 95, don't expect it to solve problems for later cars.
