Ford did. It was written up in one of the magazines. I don't remember which one, but you should be able to find it with a search. They put it in a Cougar and the performance was awsome.

i know im gonna get a lot of **** for this but why is it that when ever someone new posts to basically anything, you guys are the first ones to tell them to use the damn search feature. yeah it is helpfull, but soon enough everything is already gonna be said, technically about these cars, and your just gonna be like "use this, its helpfull", and then you guys wont have anything to talk about. I would think you would want to be as friendly as possible to newer people, and actually respond to their posts, instead of giving them the cold sholder, and telling them to use search.

Ok, you are right about one thing. You are gonna get some **** for this. Hightower was VERY nice when he asked the newb to use the search. Not only that, if you read the front page of the damn CEG site it states the following:
Welcome to Contour.ORG, home of the Contour Enthusiasts Group and simply the best place for information on the Ford Contour, Mercury Mystique, or European Ford Mondeo.

Things you will want to do here:

Read the FAQ, many of your questions will be answered here!
Interested in modifying your car? Visit the Mods section!
Visit our Forums and interact with other owners. Definitely our most popular area.
Chat live with other CEG members in the Chat section
Join the mail list for more interaction with fellow drivers
Enjoy the site!

Now, tons and tons of freaking questions can be answered by usinfg the damn FAQ. I bet you don't even have a clue what the FAQ is!! And the search button is as big as a damn house now!

But, even the subtle clue to use it has failed to work!

To quote our leader, "I don't think sending people to "serch" is a bad thing, it is a powerful tool!!! " Learn it, live it, use it!

why come back with a response like this? you don't know him. i do. he's a good friend of mine and he's knows his stuff about cars and, believe it or not, he even knows what FAQ means.

chris hightower did it in a polite way, as do a lot of other people on here, but there are some guys who tell a newbie to use search in a less than polite way and that pisses me off a lot. why would someone want to associate him or herself with this group if one person made them feel like a total idiot because they didn't use seach?

i agree that the 3L/supercharger topic has been beaten to death here, but cut superman007 some slack. if you see a post that is discussed constantly, let the moderators deal with it.

I'm referring to what you said to nicobra5o. since you quoted his post, i assumed the your post was directed at him. if you said the FAQ comment towards superman007, then i misunderstood where it was directed.

either way, i don't think it's cool to go out of way to put down other people. you can't make a statement like ". I bet you don't even have a clue what the FAQ is!!" and expect readers to believe that you're trying to help someone out.
