have posted before with othe topics combined withit, but have yet to have an answer. what is involved in running 100shot. is a custom chip needed would a custom chip help flip chip or standard burn? can a jacobs mastermind work on our cars? while it would be safe you think it would be better or some more gauges? pretty sure I know the answers to all but wanted to double check.
also what jets could be used on a zex to spray 100 shot
stupid question but with a custom chip would 125hp shot be possible just wondering because I know of a lot of civics and integras running 100.
did the engine ever seem bothered by the 100 shot in any way.

Conig, I am currently running a 100 shot on my car. As far as the Zex pills go, it would really depend on your setup as far as which ones to use. I personally do a have a custom burned flip chip, so my FP is increased as well as my timing retarded 3°. My pills for the 100 hp shot are a 46 for nozzle and a 38 for fuel. My car was running way too rich the first few times I had the 100 shot, but after some spark plug reading, I turned it down. I have sice gone back to a 65 hp shot, since I am driving it every day, not to mention the 65 is nice for around town driving. I do not have ot have the chip "on" to run the 65. I do not plan on running on the 100 unless I am at the track. Not worth it to me to blow a cylinder on the street.

I've done a search on nitrous topics and I have a big question. It seems like everyone is using the n2o kits that come on automatically at a certain RPM. Is there any way to avoid this? I only want a hit when I want it, not whenever the car hits a certain RPM. I feel my car is good enough the screw with just about anyone right now, I would like to save the shot for serious situations. Is the ZEX tunable like that?

yes while it engages at wide open throttle it will only do so If at wide open throttle my zex switche is on a long cord I can easily hold and shift with and have HARDLY had a situation were I actually needed to use it on the street but getting low 14's when you want it is nice.

Is the ZEX tunable like that? Well, like Conig said, the Zex kit hits at WOT. Not too many sysytems anymore turn on at a "certain" RPM. You can get what is called a RPM "window" switch which is fully tunable to your RPM likings though. which is fully adjustable with pills That is a very good way to go IMO. There is no way to hit the stoock limiter whith a window switch. Plus, the N2O only sprays when the system is armed. If you want a push button switch to shoot the gas, that can be arranged as well. Just be carefull...

I think I got it: the system is armed when the following two parameters are met: 3000 RPM (in this case) and WOT. After this I can get a hit if I want it. Roger that. I think I'll get it next month. Zex kit. That's me. Right after my rims. Where did you mount the bottle. I currently have an amp and a sub in the trunk. Plus that retarded carpet cover. Can't really bolt anything to that! I think I'll pull out the carpet, spare and jack and have the back recarpeted. That's what AAA is for, right?

Chknhwk....Actually, it does not matter what RPM you are at with the Zex kit, as long as you hit WOT. You can be at 700 rpms and if the next thing you do is mash it, you get juice. I usually try to only hit it in 2nd and 3rd gears. Never in first. As long as the pedal hits the ground, you get N2O....

... if the system was previously armed. Right? If I ever install one of those, I wouldn't want my g/f to get the "surprise" when she floors it to merge on the highway...

Yeah, too much torque in first, get through the RPM's too fast. Time for second. Did you get the 82011 kit? I heard that's the one for SVT's.
