idle speed sensor code came up on my car,have had no problems what so ever ,but light has been annoying me. So went to autozone they said I need to go to dealer.Is this the same as speed sensor or is this a different part.Any install/info/ or part finding help would be apprecciated

What year model, engine, transmission? What was the exact code? If it is for a Vehicle Speed Sensor, then you may want to try this post.

it's a svt with manual and v 6 dohc don't remember code that's what tech told me it was though, I'm thinking he meant speed sensor ,but i have none of the symptoms of any of the other post on that subject

You may want to go to another Advance or Autozone and get it scanned again and then post it. It is all too easy for them to say what they think and then you having to foot the bill to fix something which might not be related to you CEL.
