Just done mine pictures here http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=picsvids&Number=1046704&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=2&fpart=1

Lightly sand with fine sandpaper to get a good key, prime with a sutable plastic primer then add the colour paint of your choice i would recomend using acrilic paint as its on plastic then spray laquer (clearcoat) to finish and get a nice shine

I just washed off the parts with degreaser. 3-4 coats of paint (Duplicolor Truck and Van paint). Let that dry and then 5-6 coats of clearcoat.

Here is an older pic....I will snap a updated pic soon.

yes it does look very nice. both of them. has anybody done this to a black car? the trim pieces are already black. what would be a good color change? i'm going for something along silver or white. what do you think?

please, please, please DO NOT paint anything in your interior white, especially if it's black. You'll just ruin everything and it'll look tacky as hell.

Anyways,I've got a dark grey cloth interior and I painted my trim silver. I just removed the parts I was painting (dash bezel w/vents,centre console, radio surround, door handle surrounds),degreased and cleaned them, and without sanding hit them with some primer and then a colour coat. Didn't have any clearcoat,so I never cleacoated it,but it looks fine, however when I paint my car,I'll be matching all the trim with the body colour,so I'll be prepping it properly and spraying it with a gun and it'll have the same finish the exterior will.

Same here. Going on 5 years and still looks good.

hey, kind of off the subject, but how'd you get that gauge pod in there to the right of the steering wheel? that's awesome.

That is no pod....just my boost gauge mounted inside the coin holder.

My paint is about 4 years old holding up good.
