Just thought I'd let you guys know that the Frankenmuth Auto show is this weekend. Gets bigger every year.
I think it might be a goodguys show which means older than 64. Friday night they shut down main street and park cars all up and down it.. I have seen more modern cars there before so who knows.
Anyway.. thought someone might like to know.

Just because of that little factoid, I'll never go to one  I remember going to that show back in 95' with my GN and then the following year they said something about 25 years or older  I will say this though, its a great place for a carshow, shopping for the women and the carshow for the guys, too bad their stupid about year limitations

Roger... they started limiting the cars because they got too many. They ran out of room to put the cars I think.
Car shows always attract car guys and cool cars regardless of whether or not they are in the show.

i MIGHT be goin this weekend, not entirely sure.. is that birth run ford show the one u guys went to back in 03? i know one of the contour guys entered and there were a bunch more in the parking lot. i think someone asked if it was "donny's car". i was there that year with that red mtx sho that entered. some people saw the yamaha badges and the rims and stuff and were like WTF IS THAT? hehe

it is. we bought it off him, and 3 months later the rod bearing went. so then we took our time and replaced it with a 3.2L and the 3.0 uppers. its puttin down 200whp and 19X tq.
had some odd stuff tho, like a ford clutch and we were told it was aftermarket. and some stuff that didnt seem right when we took it all apart. o well. its in florida now. no radio at the moment cause the wiring is all crazy, and all the yellow engine loom stuff gone.
