Dealership still has my CSVT, and they've replaced teh "stalk", fuses, checked wiring, and they still can not figure out why my wipers stopped working? As sad as it sounds, they are stumped, so I figured I'd see if you fellow CEG people may know anything since the Ford people I dropped my car off at are clueless right now.

Info:

2000 Contour SVT
113 original miles
Bought brand new 2 weeks ago from dealer holdback.
3/36 warranty just started 2 weeks ago, so I'm
covered, obviously.

Now, I would assume they would have tried/tested that as well. Not exactly sure if they have looked at the motor or not to see. Needless to say, when they ever fix this stupid little problem, I'll never bring the car to this place again.

One more thing, I did a tiny bit of searching on here, and I have to admit, the serach function sucks. But, how do I obtain a Ford Service CD? I *think* I read someone named "Toadras" sells them? Is that his name? I did a search for his username and came up empty. Must be spelling it wrong.

Todras doesn't sell the CDs anymore but you can PM him by clicking on his name in this thread to find out how you can get a hold of a CD.

Yep, Tony be me. You're welcome. Don't assume the Ford dealer replaced or tested the wiper motor. Make sure if they say they are stumped and tested everything, that they really did test the wiper motor and it worked (or they replaced it with a new and working one). A previous post had someone pressing a relay (to reset it) to get the wiper working.

Edit. Relay wiper

An idea? Sure here's an idea. Let the dealership figure out this very minor problem, have them give you a rental car, a free oil change and wash the car. You said you bought this car new right, they should be jumping through hoops to keep you happy.

Hmmm, very interesting. I'm going to call them basterds in a little bit and see/suggest ideas. I can already tell this place is going to be pretty cool.
