I'm replacing my fuel pump right now -- it died on me.

I can't remove the fuel clip, could someone let me know how to remove or what they did to remove?

i tried squeezing, the clip releases towards fuel pump, then tried pulling the collar of line away from pump.. no success.. am i doing something wrong?

i also took off the locking cap, and then see the 4 "tabs" that are grayish... tried pulling them up or pushing down and pull the fuel line away from pump but no success...
