a friend of mine just got a ticket last night for having 4 passengers in his car. 110$ 2 points. this is right from the mto web page and went into effect on aug 8 2005. Quote:
The number of young passengers that teen G2 drivers can carry is limited from midnight to 5 a.m.
Initially, G2 drivers 19 or under can carry only one passenger aged 19 or under.
After the first six months, and until the G2 driver earns a full G licence or turns 20, they can carry only three passengers aged 19 or under.
These restrictions do not apply if the G2 driver is accompanied by a full "G" licensed driver (with at least four years driving experience) in the front seat, or if the passengers are immediate family members.

bummer. same thing happened to me with the local tint laws. i have a doctors note, but that no longer helps anymore. i got three tickets in a two week span.

WOW that used to happen to me when I lived in Michigan but then once you get to Florida it no longer happends.

i got pulled over tonight, show the cop my info including my expired insurance card, insurance is valid though and even with my tinted windows he let me go with a warning for no front licsence plate. irvine pd rocks.
i should point out that the whole reason he pulled me over was for no front plate

Wow, that's harsh!!
In MA, you get your license at 16.5 and cannot carry non-relatives under 21 for six months or you'll get a suspended license. (A friend of mine in high school got hers suspended for six months due to breaking this!). You're also not allowed to drive between 12 and 6 AM until you turn 18, although the police are lenient if you're driving home or to work (I worked at BK starting 6AM when I was 17).

A lotta states have similar laws including georgia. I got pulled over tonite. He couldn't do nothing. Stupid people calling in saying I was racing. I was just playing around with a friend. There is no racing in a 1.8L NA escort, IDIOOOOTSSS. Just glad he didn't search the car or nuthin. He said something about wreckless driving, speeding, and driving without a license. I was about to blow up, since he had my license in his freakin hand. Stupid cops. I hate that road. Friend in the car laughed and said "it's an escort" when the cop said racing.  And I go to talk to the DA wednesday before a court date is scheduled for a ticket I got last year. They could potentially take my license. But I'm am seriously not guilty of the charge, so I'm fighting it.

I know right, by the time it all gets settled, it'll probably have been over a full year since I got it. Pisses me off too, because I'd much rather them have taken my license when I lived in statesboro rather than now, if that's what they chose to do.
