Hey everyone,

I have a 98E0 CSVT, 61k. Sometimes when I press the clutch in, especially during turns and on onramps, the car will die unexpectedly leaving me to jerk on the steering wheel as I realize I no longer have any power. Don't see any vacuum leaks and I did a vacuum test, gas pressure is fine at start up, although I was having a problem where my pump would not turn on from time to time but I haven't seen that in awhile. Kinda stumped and searching around didn't reveal too much in the form of help. Thanks for any input.

Change the fuel filter and air filter. If that doesn't work, then you may have to think about the fuel pump.

Edit. Fuel filter

Also, search in to the IAC being a failure, though it would likely cause idle problems, as well (when not driving)

Yeah, already replaced the IAC half a thousand miles ago or so to fix some idle problems. I'll change the fuel filter, don't think that has been changed in awhile. My car also has a consistent dry-start condition that I haven't been able to get rid of, dunno if that could be related though. Thanks for the replies.
