No.
When you change the ignition key you will have new pats keys with new frequencies that will require programming the car to accept the new pats keys.

as long as you still have your two keys you will be able to program the new keys yourself.
just use the new key in the ignition and move the sensor away and just hold the keys next to it as you follow the programing procedture

I doubt it. You will not be able to turn the ignition on with the old key or keys that still have the chip that the car recognizes.

yes the old keys will not turn the ignition because the cylinder should be for the new key but you can still program the new keys, just hold the key and sensor away from the new key in the ignition, worked for me and I did that right after SZ

You can pop the chip out of the old key and put it in the new key.

Probably.
This time it would be wise to end up with three keys so that if you loose one you will be able add a third one back in by yourself. Usually there is no additional labor charge, for the dealer to add two keys instead of only one key, just the cost of the additional key.
