I have the CEL code P1120, the scanner says Manufacturer Air Fuel metering. When I searched on here for the code all the post say TPS. Am I missing something?

P1120 Throttle Position Sensor out of range.

Disconnect sensor's terminals, measure resistance between, center terminal and other outer terminals. Per Haynes, resistance should be between 400 to 6000 ohms.

Edit. This thread might help you decide what to do.

well, thats odd that my scanner says air/fuel metering but if the TPS doesn't work right I suppose it would cause all sorts of problems. Maybe even the problem I talked about in my other thread. I put a new TPS on about 8 months ago or so and didn't drive it much. I'll pull it off and reinstall it just incase. Thanks again Tony!

The TPS sends a signal to the PCM which in turns controls (or corrects) the air/fuel mixture, hence the "air/fuel metering".
