BS, in this case...a focus intake can be adapted, sleeper has a good write up on making your own. This is silly.
The parts that are available aren't even being utilized...this thread = case in point. No one making parts is a poor excuse for modding your intake w/ playdoh.

thats why i said CARRIED AWAY.....ive posted numerous times in zetec performance my focus intake, and ive had a couple people buy the same one as me....IMHO it looks like crap,but at least hes tryin.

If you have to resort to this level of ghetto, you need to step away from the car and stop trying. How about spending some money on degreaser, some naval jelly, anti-corrosion battery spray and a car wash for starters.

It eats rust and leaves a residue which then can be painted over to prevent further rusting.

how about getting rid of it??? hha i will get a new car soon ethier a b16 99 civic or a focus and supercharge it...this was my first car and i wanted to experiment a little to see what i could do..i made my intake way before sleeperz put the sticky up and all my stock intake crap is in another province...the car is ethier going ot the junkyard or traded in for a newer car..to many repairs for these cars i had it a year and put at least 2000 cdn into it and i bought it for 1500 cdn and now i will only get 1000 cdn for it...no point in keepin it longer i need something that will last

i also made my own custom intake for my car i cant belive there alot of haters on here talking about ghetto this and ghetto that. Its ignorant to cl someone stupid for thinking out the box. I have friends who say just buy a custom one that coming from friends who had mommy and daddy to buy them everything. If you have a nice stereo system and your rca wires are acting up get quad shielded coaxial cable then get the rca tips and make your own rca cable gives you alot better bandwith.

M-kay...you know that duct-taping a blowdryer to your intake does not a supercharger make...? And if you could swing either of those, then wtf half-ass this car? You're only helping to decrease the value if you do intend to sell it...
