I've been wanting to put a K&N air filter on my car. Now, I've heard a comment from my friend who is a mechanic. He said that these filter aren't good because the car will suck in the oil from ther filter and mess up my MAF. Is any of this true?

I have had a k&n on my car for the past year with no problums. And yes, if it is OVER oiled it can suck a little oil onto the MAF sensor. In which case, you clean it........ . .
