OP jerysan Newbie J Joined: May 2005 Posts: 4	I've been wanting to put a K&N air filter on my car. Now, I've heard a comment from my friend who is a mechanic. He said that these filter aren't good because the car will suck in the oil from ther filter and mess up my MAF. Is any of this true? --------------------------- 1999 contor 2.0L Zetec ---------------------------

And yes, if it is OVER oiled it can suck a little oil onto the MAF sensor. In which case, you clean it........ . . Midnight Red 95 Contour SE 5 speed, fully loaded. kkm M.A.F. adapter w/ K&N ru-3530, single Magnaflow muffler w/ no res. 2.25" custom catback exhaust, grafite painted stock 95 SE rims on bfgoodrich touring T/A's, 35% window tint around.
