I quit drinking a while ago, so it doesn't bother me one bit. Back when I was a lush I had a cousin that was a bootlegger less than two miles from the house, and numerous other hole in the walls that I frequented. Where i live now is only about 2 miles from the county line where there is a beer store about 100 yards into the next county! Randolph County is just hurting themselves, w/ the few other counties that are "dry"! AL altogether makes some pretty stupid political decisions, but I love it nonetheless and am not planning on going anywhere!

Between midnight and 7am (noon on Sundays), the liquor aisle must be closed off, done by stringing tarps at each end of the aisle and covering any liquor displays not inside the liquor aisle (per state regulation). It should be pretty obvious that you're NOT supposed to enter but that didn't stop this couple from entering, they had a 6 pack of Sam Adams and a bottle of Bacardi Limon in hand.

Me: Sorry folks, no liquor sales after midnight.
Her: Yeah, we know.
Me: No seriously, you can't buy liquor after midnight, the registers won't ring them up and it's against the law for you to even be in this aisle.
Her: Really?
Me: Yes.

They put their purchases down and leave.

Stop the presses. This is major news. Definately post-worthy.

I suggest visiting your local pharmacist for they will have the appropriate douche for you to wash out whatever has crawled up your mangina.

For some reason on saturday night (sunday morning technically) here stores can no longer sell alcohol after midnight. It's stupid. The solution? Go to a deli in the ghetto and ask nicely.
