OP mondeo_st24RSAP Member M Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 49 england	Does anyone Know if the jaguar AJ-V6 3.0 block can be used to do a 3.0 block conversion on a duratec 2.5 (170bhp) i know you guys have done it with the tranus 3.0 is this block the same? Mondeo ST24 with RSAP body kit. 17" DOTz's on 215/40/17 goodyear F1's (very good tyre) EBC TURBO GROOVE FRONT AND REAR DISCS (rotors)(warped fronts exchanged under warrenty) EBC GREEN STUFF PADS (voted no1 in uk performance ford tests) k&N induction kit throttle body butterfly mod SHM HEADERS, Y & CAT Custom Exhaust System Ecotec Valve more mods to come... ice sony XR-M510 head unit sony 656 changer(cdr/cdrw/cdtext compatable)

Rara Administrator R Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 4,527 Westland, MI	the block should be very similar at the least (for the X-type anyway) but you should be careful to check for any possible differences. I don't think anyone has pulled an X-type block yet. The S-type 3L block may be a bit different still, as it is adapted for a front engine rear drive configuration. But it may still work.
