I've had my CSVT for almost 3 weeks and besides a CEL because of an o2 sensor gone south, everything seems to be ok, I replaced the sensor and the cel never came back, I do have a doubt, When I'm driving in "gas saving mode", meaning I try to shift before 3k rpm and I press the gas moderatly at about 1500rpm (lets say I'm on second gear) the car sttuters baddly, kinda like when trying to overtake someone on fifth gear going 20 miles an hour
I know some of this behavior shoud be normal but it seems a bit excesive, so this is my question, how normal is this? I thought it may had to do with the cams configuration or something but

the car is stock enginewise besides an unknown brand conic filter with no heat barrier (maybe heatsoak could be the culprit?)
I just changed the plugs and the seemed fine (neither lean or rich), the wires looked fine to me, changed the oil also... the car has about 30k miles. It doesn't matter if the car is cold or hot. Secondaries seem to be opening when the should, about 3900 rpms.
so... what do you guys think?? clean the EGR? MAF? or maybe intake manifolds?
Thanks!
