I respect the overall sport of how much effort and tuning is required, just the whole lots of circles isn't appealing to me, i'm a big fan of rally racing, baja, stadium trucks, and touring races.
I think if there's any racing that takes some big cojones it's rally racing, tripple digit speeds through the woods takes some courage.

nascar is cool. More to it then just left turns. And they do race at road course on occasion. nascar is different than other forms of racing and involves different strategies to win.

to be honest not a fan of nascar AT ALL, but i do like the SCCA racing,real cars racing real cars...for the most part..

It's not so much the actual drifting I hate - anytime you want to make a car do something in a more timely fashion, it takes some skill and deserves a bit of respect - but the mentally deficient nature of the lifestyle it invokes... specifically to the "fans".
