I'd much rather throw a new alternator in there, than have to pull that same one out more than once when the brushes go out quickly from poor quality replacements. svt490 CEG\'er S Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 238 Kalamazoo, MI	yeah just go buy a remaned alternator, I tried having mine rebuilt at a starter and alternator shop and it was nearly as much as getting a remaned one from autozone. Mike C T-Red 99 csvt #490 No longer a dailer driver
