I heard about this on the stern show this morning. I don't know much about the story, but from what I heard on the radio, all she wants is to sit down and talk with the president because she feels she has been disrespected by something he did. I don't understand what the big deal is...the guy is on the longest vacation ever, and the president does serve at the pleasure of the people. He had no problem going to visit the wounded when his face was on the front of every paper in america. Bush's kids are still alive, they'll never set foot in iraq - so give the woman what she wants and get over with it already.

iirc he has met with her once already as he has with many other families. she is just demanding another turn. as for the vacation comment, have you never heard of working from home? do you honestly think any president gets to tell everyone to piss off, throw away the cell phone and get away from everything and everybody for a week or so like the rest of us can!?

The only thing that comes to my mind with "sticks and stones" is way off topic.
That said... I think this lady is short the eye liner and foundation from her makeup case. President Bush has already spoken with her. Sorry, but you don't get the President on speed dial to talk to whenever you wish.

The President already has met with her. It's sad that her son died in Iraq, but it doesn't give her the right to access Bush whenever she wants.
