You don't really need to remove the dash itself.

When I ran wires for amps and put in a new HU a few weeks back i just took out the center console, the black trim peice around the hu then dropped the glove box. I took out seats and carpet and everything to do this and put in sound deadening also. There are two screws for the center console, once you pull out that peice, there are like 4-6 screws for the back part that has the cupholders in it. Once you take that part off the black trim peice around the HU needs to come off. There are like 2-4 screws on the bottom of that to take it out. Other then that, just dropping the glove box gives you all the access to wires that you need.

From everything i've heard, taking the dash out is a major pita. HTH

Don't remove the dash. My wires are going underneath the trim along the bottom of the passenger side door, then behind the glove box. Once you get behind the glove box you can run wires behind the center dash and then pull them through where the deck goes to connect before you reinstall.
