Not to mention an instructor physically placed herself in front of me preveting me from leaving a classroom Tuesday. The instructor is in fact a substitute, and what's even better, my Program Chair!
I hope it gets her fired! She passed out a quiz scheduled at 11am which would take an hour to do (She passed it out at 12 though, with 5 minutes to do it!!
). With that said, she tried to prevent a ton of other students from leaving class the same way (because a lot of us had to leave for work). When I attempted to leave, she side-stepped into the doorway and physically prevented me from leaving, I had to step back, and then try again when she moved (Keep in mind, in front of a giant class of about 30 students- she can't deny it). She let me go, and after taking books to the car I came back to the room to tell her I'm going to the Dean about it.
He took my number, he said he'd do something; this is my final faith in their administration there. They never follow through with solving complaints.
It just gets better and better.
ive seen professors throw people out before but never try to physically restrain someone from leaving.
