OP Coach Pete New CEG\'er C Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 34	Good morning all, My lights flicker and dim when on the high way. The lights I am talking about are both the dash lights and the headlights. They pulsate and nothing in the the car with relation to the electrical system is on such as the a/c or the radio. I replaced my alternator about a month ago so does anyone know what this might be. Any help is greatly apprecaited and I thank you in advance. Pete

Then check wires from positive to alternator and negative to ground (no chafed or broken wires). Check battery voltage 12 -12.5 engine off. 14 -14.5 engine running (you may want to revv high to simulate highway driving). Check Fuse no. 10 (for ignition switch) in fuse box next to battery to see if it is loose or corroded.
