would it be possible for those quoting a post with a picture in it to not quote the picture as well? all that does is increase the load time unnecessarily. i do have cable, but it is really "crappy-butt" (yeah, i said it) cable and it pains me to have to reload the same picture several times. thank you.

i agree, its completely obnoxious  its just as i was telling Muffy the other day.

Actually from my understanding Lance wants functionality out of his site. Expect something to be said now that it's been brought up. Honestly quoting images has just become something I've grown accustom to, but I did hate it when I had AOL dial up. <-- Remembers 56k  R.I.P.

it doesnt take load time any longer because its just the same image downloaded once and shown in more than one spot.
but, i agree. its alright with 1 picture but when there's 10 pictures quoted so someone can insert  it gets obnoxious.

I just hit the stop button if there's too many pictures. Saves much aggrivation.

Some people are nice around here and remove the "image" tags when they're quoting a picture. That way, their reference is made but you don't have to scroll around another picture. I wonder if it's a possibility to include in the UBBThreads code not to accept the image tag if it's inside a quote tag. We really need a suggestion box

picture quoting is definitely a pet peeve of mine.
Load time isn't the problem for me either. It's just annoying.
We all saw the pictures in the first post, so why quote them?

Or flippin' remove the img tags so we don't have to keep scrolling down. It's like educating preschoolers.
